Imus' wife steps in after CBS fires host

This is how far we've come in this country insanity wise...All be it Don Imus' comments about female basketball players being "nappy headed hos" warrants some discipline it has become a national tragedy much like the coverage of Anna Nicole Whore's death. What really bothers me is that at a huge fundraiser last night Imus' wife co-hosted the event and made this statement about the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team:

"I have to say that these women are unbelievably courageous and beautiful women," she said.

You've got to be kidding me! Because Imus said something stupid these women are elevated to hero status and are called "courageous?" What constitutes courage now days in this country? I thought that was reserved for the select few who actually do exhibit courage....Courage in the face of adversity. Courage standing up for what is right. Courage following through with conviction. Courage rising above an intolerable situation.

A bunch of female basketball players are not courageous for being called "nappy headed hos!"

Let's try to focus on what true courage is. Mrs. Imus, fuck off!
